Taronga Almonds is a delightfully delicious family-run business based in the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia.
Run by two-and-a-half generations of foodies who are nuts about producing and selling high-quality almonds and natural food products. Our vegan-friendly range includes flavoured almonds, gluten-free baking products and mouthwatering almond butters. All are available for snacks, gifts and to wholesale customers.
Invoking memories of days gone by, when childhoods were spent trying to crack open tough outer shells to get at the delicious nuts inside, Taronga Almonds is renowned for those hard-to-come-by almonds from yesteryear. Two heritage varieties that thrive in the Fleurieu region are used to create several of Taronga Almonds’ products. As a result, not only are these products healthy, but they’re full of flavour, boasting a nuttier and creamier taste than that found in many other varieties.
Taronga Almonds uses organically grown local ingredients wherever possible. Our entire range is produced in small batches to minimise processing and ensure only the freshest seasonal ingredients are used. And, because we care about the environment, we use 100% recyclable packaging, to ensure a brighter future for the Fleurieu region and the world.
Taronga Almonds was one of the original stall holders at the now famous Willunga Farmers Market and is proud to still be there every Saturday morning. If you don’t find us there, you can also grab hold of us for a nutty natter at the Adelaide Farmers Market every Sunday.
